James V. Day American Legion Scholarship
Eligibility: Any Maine senior entering post-secondary education or training and who is of good character, demonstrates a belief in the American way of life, exhibits financial need and has a parent who is a current member of the American Legion.

Joe Poulin Memorial Youth Hockey Association Scholarship
Eligibility: Any student having gone through the Winslow Youth Hockey Association who is going on to higher education.

John C. “Chips” Quinn Scholarship
Eligibility: Any minority senior majoring in journalism or communications. Must have participated in some form of high school journalism for at least two years.

John Bourassa Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior who has at least a C average, in financial need and who will be enrolling full-time in college.

Joseph B. Ezhaya Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior enrolled in an accredited New England College. Applicants must show evidence of community service and involvement, must complete a required essay on citizenship and maintain an academic average of “C” or better.

Joyce Lord Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior pursuing a four year degree. Must maintain a “B” average or better, demonstrate community involvement and be dedicated to their field of study.

Kennebec Federal Savings Maine College Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior who has a GPA of 3.0 or above and has been accepted as a full-time student in a 2 or 4-year Business/Finance program at a Maine college

Kennebec Retired Teachers Association Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior resident of Kennebec County who is pursuing the tteaching profession and has been accepted by a 4-year accredited college or university. Must have demonstrated financial need.

Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Frances Booth Medical Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior who is a direct descendent of a VFW member or Auxiliary member (including step-child and foster child) who is enrolling in a 2 or 4 year medical training program in Maine.

Eligibility: Any dependent of an employee of Fresh Samantha, Inc., who is in good academic standing and has been accepted at a post-secondary institution.

Lisa Cassidy Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: A senior pursuing a career in the performing arts field at either a 2-or 4-year accredited institution. Must have studied or been involved in a form of performing arts in high school. Must have a G.P.A of 3.0 or higher.
Apply:Application and a minimum of 2 recommendations in support of the scholarship.(cannot be a relative)

Lou Fontana Scholarship
Eligibility: Any undergraduate student from the University of Maine system who is matriculating toward a degree in teaching Special Education, preferably in the area of Severe Disabilities.
