Gates Millenium Scholarship
Eligibility: Any minority student enrolling in undergraduate or graduate degree programs. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better, a demonstrated financial need and demonstrated leadership abilities (community service or co-curricular activities).

George J. Mitchell Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior who will be attending a four-year institution in Maine. Selection criteria based on academic performance (GPA of 3.5 or better), community service and financial need.
Apply: Application form, or download www.mitchellinstitute.org , personal statement, SAR, financial aid award letter, transcript and recommendation.
Award: up to $5000 for four years (e.g. $1250 each year)

Golf Scholarship of the American Lung Association of Maine
Eligibility: Any Maine student who is a player or an employee of a golf facility who is pursuing further education in a medical/health related field. Must show academic achievement and financial need. Must be a non-tobacco user.
Apply: Application form, goals statement, two specific letters of recommendation, official transcript, letter of college acceptance, and personal interview.
Award: $5000 for three students

Grand Du Maine Nurses Training Scholarship
Eligibility: Any senior entering a nursing program who demonstrates financial need.

Grand Royal Arch Masonic Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Any senior pursuing further education (2 or 4 years). Selection based on academic excellence, contributions to the community, must be chemical-free, financial need and a letter of recommendation.

Guy P. Gannett Scholarship Fund
Eligibility: Any Maine senior who will be furthering their education majoring in journalism or a related field, including all forms of print, broadcast or electronic media. Award will be based on academic performance, financial need, and a demonstrated interest in a journalism type career.

Harold Violette Scholarship – Winslow Football Boosters
Eligibility: Any senior who has participated in high school football for at least 3 years, including senior year (this could include a team manager). Must be accepted by an accredited school or college. Must be a good citizen, of good character and a student in good standing.

Award: $500

Holly Parks Siviski Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any graduating senior pursuing a 4 yr. degree in education, who has demonstrated community service and is in good academic standing.

Horatio Alger Scholarship
Eligibility: Any full time senior who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution who is in critical financial need. Student must have at least at GPA of 2.0 and be involved in co-curricular and community activities.

xxx- Hood Milk Money Tour - xxx
Eligibility: Any senior furthering their education who demonstrates at least a 2.75 GPA. Students must sing the Maine “County Song” at one of the Tour stops. This could be a solo or with a group of friends. Once the song has been sung, the student will then receive the application form.

Award: $4,000 for finalists, $250 for semi-finalists

Eligibility: Any senior or college student pursuing a career in engineering or instrumentation and control.
