The primary purpose of interscholastic sports is to contribute to the overall development of the student in concert with Winslow High School's philosophy and objectives. The athletic program encourages the participation of all students who wish to be involved in any and all activities. It is the goal of Winslow High School to make available a large number and wide variety of activities of interest to all.

Pre-season Fall Sports Information
Students interested in participating in Winslow High School fall sports are required to meet their coaches on the following dates and times to pick up the required paperwork.
Pre-season for all sports begins on August 13. All forms necessary to participate need to be completed before this date. Freshmen are required to have proof of recent physicals prior to the pre-season date.
Fall Parent Information night will be held on August 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the high school. Parents are asked to return completed paperwork on this night to their coaches.
Dates to pick up paperwork are as follows:
Fall Cheering-August 3 at 5:30 p.m. at high school
Field Hockey-Paperwork packets may be picked up in the Main Office of the high school.
Cross-Country-TBA
Girls Soccer-August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the high school
Boys Soccer-August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the high school
Golf-August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the high school
Football-Paperwork & Equipment issue August 8 at 6:00 p.m.at the high school; Equipment make-up August 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Any athlete who is unable to attend these meetings, may pick up paperwork and schedules at the High School. Contact Carrie Larrabee at 859-2353 or 872-1990 or the coach of the sport with any questions.

Route 100A - Halifax St. Winslow, Maine
From the North:
Travel on I-95 South to Clinton exit #138. Turn left at the end of the ramp, travel to stop sign. Turn right onto route 100. Travel straight ahead for approximately 4 miles. Continue straight on route 100 for approximately 4 miles. Field will be on your left.
From the South:
Travel on I-95 North to Waterville-Oakland exit #127. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Follow route 137, until you pass the Hannaford store on your right, approximately 1 ½ miles. Look for route 137 East and bear to the right. Continue on 137 East across the Carter Memorial Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left at the traffic light onto route 201 North. Travel to the traffic light, stay in right lane. Go straight across the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn right at the traffic light onto route 100A (Halifax St.). Field will be approximately 1 ¼ miles on your right.
From the Coast:
Travel West on route 17 towards Augusta, turn right onto route 32 heading towards Windsor-South China. Travel on route 32 approx. 8.5 miles to the stop sign. Turn right onto route 202/3 towards Belfast. Travel only ¼ mile, turn left onto route 202 towards China. Travel approximately 7 miles. At blinking light continue straight on route 137 towards Winslow. Travel approximately 7 ½ miles straight into Winslow. At the 2nd traffic light turn right, stay in right lane to proceed across the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn right at the traffic light onto route 100A( Halifax St.). Field will be approximately 1 ¼ miles on your right.
