Someone from FAME will be here to help. Bring your income tax and banking information so you can actually submit your FAFSA at this time.

Shadows in the Dark, a Novel by
WHS Alumni 2005, Sarah Doucette
Sarah uses the pseudonym Anne Doucette. Most of the book takes place in Winslow. Sarah has recently moved back to the area and is teaching English at Lawrence High School. She is eagerly working on the sequel as she attempts to get her first novel out there. The novel can be found in paperback and kindle editions at Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.

Where: Miss Williams’ classroom
Why: The advantage to doing well on your accuplacer is that you don’t have to take a remedial course at your college, which means you save money and time.

Ready To Ride
for Gary Osborn
Scholarship Funds

Colleagues, former students and friends participated in the Fundraiser "Bike" Ride
for the Gary Osborn Scholarship.The ride took place on Saturday October 15th, 2011. Some participants rode bicycles (approx. 40 miles) and another group rode motorcycles. The groups met up at Bowen's Tavern in Belfast for lunch followed by a brief ceremony.

Shane O'Connell Elected Governor at Dirigo Boys State
Shane will be a senior in September. He ran on a platform of lowering taxes, creating jobs and balancing the budget. The Dirigo program is sponsored by the American Legion and was developed to give students the experience of governing and to appreciate the process.
