 Click here for map
From the North: (off I-95)
Take exit #133 (Fairfield-Skowhegan)
Turn right on Route 201 (Main Street, Fairfield): go 1.1 miles. Turn left on Bridge Street -100/ME-11/ME-139; go .5 miles
At the top of the hill at the blinking light, turn right onto Benton Avenue; go 3.2 miles.
Turn left onto Danielson St; go .2 miles . Winslow High School is the last building on the left.
From the South: (off I-95)
Take Waterville-Oakland exit #127.
Turn right onto Kennedy Memorial Dr.; go 1.6 miles.
Turn right at Carter Memorial Drive; go 1.1 miles.
Turn left at Augusta Rd. (ME 100/US-201); go 1.6 miles. Continue on Benton Ave; go .3 miles.
Turn Right at Danielson St., go .2 miles.
Winslow High School is the last building on the left.
From the Coast:
Travel West on route 17 towards Augusta, turn right onto route 32 heading towards Windsor-South China. Travel on route 32 approx. 8.5 miles to the stop sign. Turn right onto route 202/3 towards Belfast. Travel only 1/4 mile, turn left onto route 202 towards China. Travel approximately 7 miles. At blinking light continue straight on route 137 towards Winslow. Travel approximately 7-1/2 miles straight into Winslow. At the 2nd traffic light turn right, stay in right lane to proceed across the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn right at the traffic light onto route 100A( Halifax St.). Danielson Street will be approximately 1-1/4 miles on your right.

Seniors: There will be a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, Feb. 2nd from 6-8 p.m. in Mrs. Meehan’s computer lab to help with filing your FAFSA’s. Please let guidance know if you will be attending. Someone from FAME will be here to help. Bring your income tax and banking information so you can actually submit your FAFSA at this time.

Shadows in the Dark, a Novel by
WHS Alumni 2005, Sarah Doucette
BookCover_Shadows in the DarkSarah uses the pseudonym Anne Doucette. Most of the book takes place in Winslow. Sarah has recently moved back to the area and is teaching English at Lawrence High School.   She is eagerly working on the sequel as she attempts to get her first novel out there. The novel can be found in paperback and kindle editions at Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.

All classes are from 2:15pm – 3:30pm

Where:  Miss Williams’ classroom
Why:  The advantage to doing well on your accuplacer is that you don’t have to take a remedial course at your college, which means you save money and time.

Ready To Ride for Gary Osborn
         Scholarship Funds

Image Motorcycles Ride
Colleagues, former students and friends participated in the Fundraiser "Bike" Ride
for the Gary Osborn Scholarship.The ride took place on Saturday October 15th, 2011.  Some participants rode bicycles (approx. 40 miles) and another group rode motorcycles.  The groups met up at Bowen's Tavern in Belfast for lunch followed by a brief ceremony.

Football Coach, Michael Siviski, was awarded the game ball of his 200th win on Saturday, Sept. 17th with a game against Maranacook.

Shane O'Connell Elected Governor at Dirigo Boys State
Shane will be a senior in September. He ran on a platform of lowering taxes, creating jobs and balancing the budget. The Dirigo program is sponsored by the American Legion and was developed to give students the experience of governing and to appreciate the process.
